Call for Experts - Asset and Location Management
From the IO-link device manufacturers there is a requirement and proposal to elaborate a new profile concerning “Asset and Location Management”.
Backround information:
Within Industrie 4.0 “location based support services” and competence concerning “asset management” are the main requirements. For industrial networks, suitable definitions are missing so far concerning data formats for the geographical location of end- and infrastructure devices. This leads to constrains in the area of product enhancements and product interoperability.
We are looking for experts of device and system manufacturers who would like to contribute actively to this specification work with their experience and requirements.
