IO-Link is getting established in the US
The 2nd IO-Link User Workshop in the US was a great success again. More than 160 participants attended in the workshop in Detroit / Michigan and got important information about the technologies and possible applications of IO-Link. In particular, the lectures with practical examples were the focus of attention. Other topics included the benefits of IO-Link in the maintenance, the diagnosis and the importance IO-Link for Industry 4.0 has. Highlight of the event was a lively panel discussion with experienced IOLink users from different industries. Experts see this is an indication that IO-Link increasingly getting established in the US market.
The workshop was complemented by a parallel micro fair. Here the participants did not only get information on IO-Link products and their uses cases and possible applications, but also find potential development partners.
IO-Link user workshops are becoming increasingly popular and are performed worldwide. So were recently similar workshops being held in the Czech Republic, Italy and Japan. Currently, new workshops in Germany, in the US and Japan are in preparation for fall.
